Additional Options and Services
When you purchase one of our Website packages you may purchase additional options or have us perform additional services that are not included in the package. Our PLUS! package includes a coupon to be used towards these options and services.
We have a wide variety of options and services available. We are very flexible in how our 'Add-On' coupons are used. The only restrictions are that there is no cash value to refund and the coupon cannot be used as partial payment for any Website Package. The coupons are valid for the life of your account with The Bar-J. If you choose to wait until a later date to use the coupon, that is fine. As a matter of fact we have several clients that have made that choice partly because we add to our available options from time to time. Finally, there is no actual coupon that is printed, it is in fact tracked within your account only.
Additional Pages ($35 to $60 each):
Add a Page or Process: Additional pages can be added to you site at any time. Fees are generally between $35 and $60 depending on complexity. A static page displaying a flyer for instance would only cost a one time fee of $35. A more complex page that displays a Form, validates that form and ultimately sends the form to you via email might actually require multiple pages. This specific process would cost $60. A more complex process might cost more, but generally most add-on pages will fall within the $35-$60 range.
Available Options ($35 each)
Photo Gallery: A very popular choice. We offer several styles of photo galleries, most of which can have photos added and removed by you. Three styles in particular are Light Box, Photo Stack and Slide Show. If you look though some of our current clients on the "Our Sites" page you will can find examples of all of these styles. If you email us we can send you links to our most current examples. (we will be adding examples of these photo viewers to our own site in the near future. The Slide Show can be seen on our "Our Site" page)
Word Press Blog: Another very popular option. Blogging is not only an excellent social activity, it's also a very good tool for generating the content that will keep people returning to your site. An example of our Blogging option can be seen here on our own site by clicking the Blog button above. Word Press is a very powerful tool with many options of it's own.
Web Calendar: Our calendar option is database driven and a good choice if you wish to post events for your visitors to access. An example is available here on out site as well.
We also offer a Banner Ad Manager and A Help Center Manager but do not have examples to show. No has has chosen these options and we have not added them to our site yet. If there is another option you would like that is not listed here, let us know and we will see if we can come up with a solution for you. We're very flexible.
Available Services ($35 per hour)
Our service cost is based on the time it takes to perform the service. Although we have a 1 hour minimum, we often perform services for our clients free of charge if it is not going to take a lot of time and is not a regular request. So please feel free to ask if you have a specific need that we may be able to accomplish. If the service requested requires travel to you location, which I will do within reason, I charge $.50 a mile round trip on top of any hourly fee.
Photography Services: This service includes both photography and photo editing. If I come to your site to take pictures I will not charge for the editing of those pictures. If you send me your own pictures to be edited or optimized then we do charge for that time. I have yet to take more than one hour for a photography session. This does NOT include the photos we edit and optimize in creating your basic package design. Those are included in the price of the package. We usually ask to include no more the 5 pictures per page, but once again we are very flexible with that as well.
Video Services: Our video production and editing service is very much like the photography service explained above. If you choose we will publish your video for you on YouTube® under our profile or yours and then embed the video on your page. Other Services: If you have specific requirements, please let us know. With our assortment of tools we can often perform tasks such as data conversion or video conversion in a very short amount of time. We're very flexible (in case I haven't mentioned that before <smile>)
