6 Hour Enduro results - 55 starters - Phillips/Clements 1st -- Holbrook/Combs 6th!
PhillipsRacePrep finished 1st in the 6 Hour Enduro at Texas World Speedway! John Phillips III and Blake Clements made it happen for a third year in a row. Due to last minute car change, the #64 car of Phillips & Clements was gridded at the back in a field of 55 cars. Within two laps, Phillips was back up front, running with the leaders. Blake was ecstatic "How does he do that! We are back in the hunt!" With a great crew, pit stops went smoothly and quickly. Phillips & Clements were consistent and never let up the pressure. Blake set a new track record in the last hour.
Our 2nd enduro entry, driven by Jeff Holbrook and Jesse Combs finished 6th! Jeff & Jesse were a great team & never let up. After starting at the back of the grid because of a car change, they worked their way up into the heat of battle at the front. Surviving the opps of other competitors and driving extremely consistent times, they put the #7 car up front and stayed there.

Anytime you finish an endurance race it is an accomplishment. Not only did we finish, we finished both cars in the top 10. A new track record was set. We have now won this race 3 years in a row - WOW! Great drivers, great crew, and well prepped cars - it is a proven winning combination!

It's been a great year.....
Blake Clements, John Phillips III, Jeff Holbrook finish 1-2-3 in the NASA Texas racing series!
"PhillipsRacePrep was represented well this year. I am proud of the progress of our team. The new guys are coming on strong, too! We are looking forward to the 6 Hour Enduro this weekend at TWS. We have won for the past two years - lots of things can happen at an enduro - with well preped cars, good drivers, a great crew, and a little luck - we will do it again!"

It's Official.....
John Phillips III wins the Wheels of America Spec Miata Road Racing Championship !
It was a challenging year - obstacles were thrown our way, but regardless, John pulled out another Wheels America Series championship win. 71 Drivers competed this year for the championship honors.
PhillipsRacePrep team members all had an excellent year. Blake Clements was a very close second, only 4 pts behind John. Aaron McSpadden finished 4th. Jeff Holbrook finished 7th in his beautiful red,white and blue Miata. Paul Keplinger finished 9th. Not racing a full season -- Rookie driver Jesse Combs finished 18th. Kent Carter finished 24th. OJ Young finished 27th. Mike Crothers 36th. Mike Kelly 37th.
